Pond border stone looks natural
Ringed the edge of the small pond behind the house near Lake Arthur with four tons of large river rock instead of the plain riprap the last owner used. Looks a lot more natural against the cypress trees, and it has kept the bank from sloughing off into the water through a full year of high water and drawdown. Ducks even seem to like sunning on the flatter rocks.

Nice big rock, a few undersized pieces
Ordered large river rock to line a swale that carries runoff from the rice field ditch out past Kaplan, six tons total for about eighty feet of channel. Most of the rock is a good big size that holds against the flow, but a handful of pieces in the load were closer to regular river rock size and looked out of place next to the bigger stuff. Still functions fine, not as tidy as pictured.
